INTRODUCTION
Chiriqui is Panama's province with the highest
mountains. On it you can climb extinct Volcan Baru, with an elevation of 3,375 mts
(11,072 fts) above sea
level. From its summit, in a clear day, both oceans can be observed and it
is the only place where you will find in Panama natural icing(early cold mornings).
Boquete with an average elevation 1,200 mts ( 4,000
fts), is the most charming town of Chiriqui.
Due to its relaxing enviroment, it was choosen by Intermantional Living for three
consecutive years as the best place to retire worldwide.
The average temperature is 20 degrees C/ 75 F.
Temperatures are mild year round. When you go to the highest points expect
temperatures to decrease and reach the 10 degrees C.
Due to Chiriqui Highland pleasant temperature and fertile soil
traditionally the area has been devoted to growing vegetables, coffee
plantations, flowers, and dairy farms.
In the last decade, due to its topography and
natural beauty, preserved by national parks (Volcan Baru and La Amistad) a
fertile territory for adventure tourism has evolved.
River rafting, zip lines, cloud forest hike,
mountain bike and many other activities are available. As well as other more
relaxing trips to coffee farms, dairy farms, flower farms, and sight seem trips.
In Boquete there is something for everyone, from
families, to couples, to friends.
ITINERARY
1st day:
Chiriqui Viejo River Rafting
We will welcome you in David, Boquete or Bugaba and take you to
your first adventure, river rafting in
Chiriqui Viejo River. You could arrive to David departing from
Panama City at 6:00am flight(not included) to be pick up at David Airport or
meet us in any other hotel or comercial area of mentioned above cities.
Lodging in
Casa Romero (it is our first option but
depending on availability we might accomodate you in a similar value
property) - Lunch
2nd day: Cloud
Forest Hike or Volcan Baru Summit
Depending on weather and group experience we will choose
to explore a cloud forest trail to spot wildlife and streams or to
reach Volcan Baru Summit(which is a fast speed hike from 5:00am to 6:00 pm)

3rd day:
Boquete Tree Trek
Meet group at 7:30 am on Plaza Los Establos, at town
main road, diagonal front of Boquete Central Park.
Today we will explore Cloud Forest Canopy in an
exhilarating ride through zip lines with
Boquete Tree Trek. (from 8am to 12:00pm). After lunch in town we
will check out from lodge and transfer to David Airport to catch our 05:00 pm
flight to Panama City.

Minors must travel with a responsible adult. To
participate in some activities the minimum required age is 12 years.
Private groups with some customization can be
arranged.
WHAT SHOULD YOU TAKE ALONG ?
For rafting make sure you wear confortable shorts,
t-shirt, baseball hat and bring along spare clothing. For Hiking wear hiking
shoes, light outdoor clothing and a poncho. For the zip line wear
long panths and hiking shoes or sneakers.
Boquete could be chilly at night, make sure you bring a
sweater. Also a rain jacket is highly recommended

can be deteriorated by water or valuables like jewels, cash,
credit cards, etc.

This package is good year around.
The green season in Panama starts in April-May
and ends by November-December.
